With my late grandfather on a rainy day. Shimane, Japan
It all started when…
I woke up in my father’s car as we approached Trier, Germany. Through the window, the first thing I saw was the towering silhouette of the Porta Nigra — the largest Roman city gate north of the Alps. Built around 180 A.D., its dark stone walls held centuries of history, and I spent hours exploring its massive halls and weathered arches. That moment sparked something in me — a fascination with architecture.
My next adventure took me to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, a beautifully preserved medieval town in Bavaria's Franconian region. This time, I came prepared — camera in hand, tripod slung over my shoulder — ready to capture the stories etched into the town's timber-framed houses and cobblestone streets.
I am currently based in Las Vegas, Nevada.
